Aduersus pedibus premit, ecce, Cupido timorem.
Non trepidat duras res animosus amans,

Degeneres animos arguit vsque timor.

Loue hath no feare.

The hare denoting feare, loue treadeth down wee see,
For his cowragious mynd may not thereby bee moued,
Hee shewes vnto his loue how well shee is beloued,
And lets his fearlesse mynd thereof the vvitnesse bee.

Amore non hà timore.

Calca Amor coraggioso ogni timore,
Ben risoluto amante non pauenta,
Più caldo al maggior rischio si presenta.
Certo segno è l’ardir di grand’ Amore.

Liefde en vreest niet.

De Liefd’ vertreedt de vrees’, gheen sorghe doet hem beven/
