Wat helpt het of ghij toont een Hert goet schoon van schijn,
Als ghij van binnen draecht een ander vol fenijn?
Dees doemelijcke sondt is meer Dan ghij moocht dencken,
U selven ghij bedriecht, en soeckt een aer te Crencken,
Godt siet het klaer ondeckt, en hij vermaeledijt
Het dubbelt herte van de boosen hijpocrijt.
Laet ons dan bidden dat de goe Godt ons wil gheven
Een Hert dat suijver is om nae sijn wil te Leven. translation

Cest homme monstre vn cœur beau d'apparence
Et par dedans en porte vn tout infect:
Ce mal est bien plus grand que lon ne pense.
Car autruy trompe, & soymesme defait.
Et Dieu qui seul descouure tout son faict,
Luy a donné sa malediction.
Or prions donc ce bon Dieu seul parfaict
