Handen ghebonden met eens-willens stercke lijn,
Is om te toonen dat daer Enicheijt moet sijn
Onder de Cristenen. en waere Liefde heijlich.
Om volgen Cristum nae haer trouwe leijtsman veijlich.
Daer kentme Goodts volck aen t'is hun een stercke wacht
Datmen vindt onder haer de Goddelijck' Eendracht
Daer die niet is, hoe kan daer Lieft of Goodts-vrucht wesen!
Soeckt vree. en wilt vervaert de twist vlieden en vreesen. translation

Ces poings liez en vne volonté
Sont pour monstrer l'vnion qui doit estre
Entre Chrestiens en saincte charité,
Ensuyuant Christ leur seul patron & maistre.
Telle union des siens nous fait cognoistre
Ainsi qu'il dit, & la dilection
Accomplit tout. qui veut donc en haut estre,
Cherche la paix, fuye dissention. translation
