Ghelijck een spieghel schoon en claer
Moet de verliefde ziele wesen,
Gansch sonder vleck, en datmen daer
Mach sien van ware liefde t’wesen:
Godts liefd’ in ons gheen straelen gheeft,
Soo langh wy d’ydelheyt beminnen,
De reynheyt gheen ghemeenschap heeft
Met die onsuyuer sijn van binnen.
Moet de verliefde ziele wesen,
Gansch sonder vleck, en datmen daer

laten we dan dit beeld, mijn
Ziel, bewaren en niet toestaan dat in u die geheel zuiver moet zijn ook maar op één punt een fout gevonden zou worden. |
