Amor nequit male facere.
Nulla fides inerit periuria ridet amantum
Iupiter, et ventis irrita ferre jubet.
Gratia magna Jovi: vetuit pater ipse valere:
Iurasset temere quidquid ineptus Amor.

Giuramento sparso al uento.
Se ben l'amante assai promette, e giura,
Non si da pena à le sue uoci infide,
Anzi Venere, e Gioue se ne ride.
L'Amoroso spergiuro non si cura.

Amour parjure.
Belles defiez uous des serments amoureux:
LAmour n'a Jamais fait scrupule du parjure,
Craindra il les mortels, s'il ne craint pas les Dieux:
Defiez uous en donq, car il rit quand il jure.

Meinedige Liefde.
Sla geen Geloof aan de Eed die Ooit een Minnaar Zweerd
O schoone; want de min zal nooit voor Zweeren schroomen;
Meent gy dat hy u Vreesd die zelf de Goon regeerd.
hy Lacht om alles als hy tot zyn wit mag Koomen.
