Quo pergis codem vergo!
Corpus ubi Dominæ est, ibi correperitur Amantis,
Et licet ab sit, eam sperat, anhelat, amat.
Instar Solis qui quocumque ea pergit, eodem,
Dirigit ille occulos cor, animumque suum.

Verso il mio sole.
Segue i raggi del sol questo bel fiore,
Girando sempre; e drizza anchor l'amante,
A suoi amori il cor, l'occhio, e le piante,
L'Amata é il chiaro sol del Amatore.

Mon oeil uers mon soleil.
Comme le Girasol en tournant suit la flâme,
De l'auguste flambeau qui brille dans les cieux,
Ainsi l'amant touiours suit du coeur' et des yeux,
La deésse qui sert de soleil a son ame.

Myne oogen op myn Zon.
Gelyk de Zonnebloem zig zelf keerd na de Zon,
En volgd die in haar loop om so die glans te aanschouwen.
Zo is een Minnaar die na hem de min Verwon,
Zig nooit kan van 't gezicht van zyne zon onthouwen.
