Lecti delitias increpitante lyra:
Mellitos cantus animalia suasa sequuntur;
Aurem dic montes, dic habuisse nemus. translation

De doodt scheydt de Liefde niet.
Wanneer dat haer oprecht twee harten eens verbinden,
Zo achté zy noch vreught, noch quelling, noch verdriet:
Zy liepen inde Hel, indien daer waer te vinden
De Liefste; want de doot scheyt waare Liefde niet.

La mort n'estaint l'Amour.
Quand dans le cœur constant le vray amour se fonde
Il ny a rien qui peut l'en desenraciner;
La dure froide Mort ne le peut effacer,
De son lieu tant aymé, bien qu'il quite ce monde:
Orphee en est tesmoing selon l'ancien discours,
Qui jusques aux enfers poursuivit ses amours.
