Persequar extinctum te, O Pyrame! qui tua rupit
Viscera mucro, iecur transeat ille meum. translation

Totter doodt.
Pyramus leghdy hier, mijn vvaerde uytvercooren?
Ach spreect indiē ghy kunt! mijn smert die is te groot.
Ghelijck zijn vvy, Mijn Troost! ghevvonnen en gebooren,
Ick gae met u ghelijck oock vvillich inde doodt.

Iusques a la mort.
Pyrame fut jadis c'est amoureux fidele,
Pour qui mourut Thysbe comme il mourut pour elle:
Tous deux avoient fiché mesme traict dans le flanc,
Tous deux estoint esgaux en noblesse de sang,
Tous deux riches & grands des faveurs de fortune,
Tous deux nais en Babel, d'une ville commune,
Et tous deux si voysins qu'un viel mur seulement,
De leurs prochains logis partoyt le bastiment.
