XXXII.
Patet æthræ; clauditur Orbi.
IO triumphe! Deus Cordis dominatur in aulâ,
Vicit Amor, clausit Cor tibi, Munde, fores.
Nec prece, nec precio, nec Marte, nec arte, nec astu
In Cordis penetres, Cyprie leno, sinus.
Ipse adeò fuluum Mundus vertatur in imbrem,
Quo fertur Danaës imbre perîsse pudor:
Cor Superis concors arx insuperabilis, Orbis
Cum didicit blandos, munera ficta, dolos,
Cum didicit tot opum pretiosa perîcla, tot hamos,
Cum didicit Paphios felle madere fauos:
Nempe Magister Amor Cor cordi reddidit excors,
Et Gnydias casto sopijt igne faces.
Hinc modo cœlestes toto bibit ore fauillas,
Hinc superi solas excipit Orbis opes.
Cor, animamque facit Cordi Deus. o age, Mundo,
Si tibi cor, cordis tu quoque claude fores.

Ita vouemus, ita speramus,
Ita de nobis ipsi promittimus,
Eiusque rei testes
Has quales, quales ingenij nostri tabellas ad aras tuas,
S.P. Ignati,
quasi sexennij tuis in scholis exacti
Minerual, ipso festi tui peruigilio,
Communi omnium Rhetorum nomine, & voto appendimus.

Poussez tant qu'il vous plaist, ce cœur faict à l'espreuue
Ne peust estre perç, épar ce qu'icy se treuue:
Mais si ce grand Tireur vient à darder ses fleches,
En moins de rien verras, qu'il aura faict la bresche.

Cupido/ruymt de baen/
Laet 's werelts boor vry staen;
Dit hert is al te herdt
'T en gheeft noch om u hert
Noch 's werelts slecht bestier/
'T is vol van Hemelsch vyer.
