From supreame power and might almost to euerie one,
Ordayned is a mate of it self proper kynde,
Which as the Adamant atrackts the louers mynde,
What heau’en and loue once doth can bee vndonne by none.

Het lot regeert de mensen, dierbare minnaars worden verbonden (wie zou het geloven?) doordat de God zelf hen bijeenbrengt. Hij zorgt ervoor dat zoals de Grote Beer een magneet, een lieve vriendin haar minnaar leidt.

Fate governs people, dear lovers are united (unbelievable!) because the god himself brings them together. He makes a dear girl-friend lead her lover just like the Great Bear leads a magnet.
