Zolang de lont er is, blijft ook de vlam bestaan en als de brandstof opraakt, gaat ook de vlam teloor. Zo zal ware liefde wreed niet anders eindigen dan door de dood [zie boven] als hij bij machte is te sterven als zijn leven stopt.
